Action at Home
Action-at-Home is a key component of the Youth Sounding Board (YSB) engagement plan, empowering members to implement impactful community projects. Through this initiative, YSB members receive resources and grant support to design and execute projects that protect and promote human rights while aligning with the European Union’s priority areas in Nepal.
Objectives of Action at Home:
Empowering Local Change –Supports YSB members in actively addressing challenges and driving meaningful change in their communities.
Building Professional Skills – Provides hands-on experience in project management, advocacy, facilitation, event organization, leadership, and communication.
Skill Development – Gain hands-on experience in policy analysis, program evaluation, and public speaking.
Travel & Community Engagement – Visit rural areas, monitor EU-funded projects, and implement youth-driven initiatives.
Advancing Key Development Goals – Contributes to the European Union’s focus areas in Nepal, including green growth, good governance, gender equality & social inclusion (GESI), and education.
YSB members submit project proposals and receive guidance to implement their initiatives, ensuring youth-led, sustainable, and impactful solutions at the grassroots level.
